1.  My computer is running slow, stalling, and sometimes it won't turn on.  When it does turn on I get a lot of pop-ups.  Do I need a new computer?

No, you do not necessarily need a new computer.  You may just need us to reformat your computer or upgrade old or damaged hardware.

Although these problems are serious, they are usually an easy fix.  Your computer may need an upgrade that is truly affordable.  However, ignoring problems can cause irreversible damage to your current computer and all your important data.

2.  How can I benefit from a network in my home and office?

  • FILE SHARING: Share files (that you authorize) between the devices on your network (i.e. photos, documents, music, etc...)

  • PRINTER SHARING: You can print from any computer to ONE printer!

  • OTHER SHARING: Your webcams, scanners, and CD burners can be shared as well.  Also, your internet can work on multiple devices at the same time! 

  • GAMEING: Games can be played by 2 or more people on the network.

  • MEDIA CENTERS:  Watch a movie on one device that is stored on another.

  • BACKUPS: Back up your important data to another computer.

  • PHONE CALLS: You can make and receive phone calls with out using your minutes on your cell phone.

  • OTHER DEVICES: PDA's, Blackberry's, PSPs, Smartphones, etc.... can all be connected to your network for your convenience.

3.  Why is a Custom Computer made by PCC better than a store bought computer?  

We can help you understand what you need, and provide you with options, in short, you can choose!  One person may love gaming, while the next person loves video editing, while the next loves writing books, or even surfing the web all day.  Each user is different, and will require specific software and hardware that a pre-made, store-bought computer can not offer!  

  • You can choose your case!  It can be professional, small, low-key, or you can have a window to see inside, with unique neon lights.  Cases come in many different sizes and colors. 
  • You can choose the speed and brand of your processor (AMD or Intel).
  • You, the customer, get to choose the size and performance of your hard drive.  This is where your pictures, movies, music, and documents are stored.
  • You also will choose your favorite keyboard and mouse. Options include: different sizes, colors, wireless or wired, optical, etc...
  • You can choose your own new monitor, with options such as wide-screen and flat screen
  • The newest option available is Microsoft Media Center, which allows you to watch and record TV and radio on your computer, or you can turn your living room TV into a computer!

Building your own computer gives you freedom to choose what you need, instead of allowing someone else to decide, as with store bought computers.  So why buy a computer that is loaded with tons of programs and hardware that you won’t ever use?  A store bought computer will cause you to pay more for a computer then you should ever have to. IF YOU DON’T NEED IT, WHY PAY FOR IT?!
